Wimbledon is here!  And so is the weather!  Akways a great way to start The Championships!
 
I love Wimbledon – it’s the best tournament in the world – and I always get excited to play here although my excitement was somewhat dampened by drawing the top seeds and 2 time defending champions Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic in the first round of the doubles!  But I will be loving going out there and competing and playing in front of the British crowd.  
 
I am looking forward to playing the mixed doubles this year with Laura Robson although we still need a wild card to get in but I’m thinking we have a good chance to get one.  She is a really talented player who I am sure has a great future in the game and I‘m looking forward to playing with her and hopefully getting a run going.
 
I have been practicing hard and playing well for a while now although results haven’t been so good lately so I am hoping things will turn around here!   I feel good with my game and I’m excited to get out and play our first round match.
 
All eyes will once again be on Andy as he attempts to win his first grand slam and become the first British winner in donkey’s years! It is a lot of pressure and the expectation is huge but I think he is used to that now and he knows how to handle everything that gets thrown up in the next 2 weeks.  I think he has a great game for grass and can go a long way in the tournament.  He knows what it takes to get thru to the finals of these big events and fingers crossed this time he will get over the finish line.
