How is everyone?

A reasonable amount has gone on since my last blog so here's the update.

After a disappointing end in Cherbourg I came back to London to have a relaxing weekend at home ahead of a training week.  I was supposed to head to Sarajevo but Jonny hurt his calf in France so we decided to give it a miss and get it sorted.

The weekend didn't prove too fruitful for me in the fantasy football so i'll have to find that hidden gem next week to get me back on track!

I went with Alej to the Tate Modern gallery on Monday.  Even though a couple of the floors were closed we still got to see many famous artists works and we had a good time.  Afterwards we went to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D - decent film but nothing compared to Avatar.

I resumed my recent love affair with bowling on Tuesday, but my performance left a lot to be desired! Still took out Rob but where's the challenge in that?!

Jonny was 29 on Wednesday so a few of us went out for dinner to the Olive Garden for a mini celebration. For dessert we watched Man Utd take apart AC Milan 4 0..good viewing!

That morning I had gone to the adidas store on Oxford street to pick out some clothes.  They have all their ranges of clothing and I went to town! Well nothing compared to some of the footballers I had heard about, but a decent spree in my mind nonetheless!

Thursday evening was the best! Alej cooked her homemade burgers - my new favourite meal - and I followed up with Sainsbury's finest sticky toffee pudding...unbeatable combination!

Practice went reasonably well this week. I would like to have played more but we had to make sure Jonny didn't overdo it on his calf.  I hit up the gym a couple times to keep on top of my physical side and took advantage of the new "gym" in the flat by using the pull-up bar daily!

Friday we flew to Marrakech, arriving in the evening.  The hotel is very nice and the area we are in seems to be pretty affluent. The club is a 5min walk from the hotel which is always good news and there's a few restaurants flying around. I'm gonna make the effort to go to a really nice local restaurant this week to sample the food and will also try to check out the markets at some point.

It's gonna be a strong tourney this week with lots of doubles guys playing and some top singles players who aren't involved in Indian Wells.  It's a good test for us and we know we will have to play well right from the off if we are to have a good week.
