Opening win in the mixed

Jamie and Liezel Huber have started well in the mixed doubles, defeating Kateryna Bondarenko and Andre Sa 6-3 6-2.

Jamie gets his campaign with Max Mirnyi underway on Thursday. They play Mertinak/Zovko, and are third on Court Ten - the first match starting at 6pm UK time.

Jamie and Liezel got to the semi-finals at Flushing Meadows last year, before losing 6-7 7-6 10-5 to Leander Paes and Meghann Shaughnessy.

They'll now play the winner of Peschke/Vizner versus Cibulkova/Melzer.
