Andy and Jamie are through to the second round of the doubles event in Toronto after a 7-6(4) 6-2 win over Richard Gasquet and Nicolas Mahut.
After suffering an early break, the guys managed to get back on serve in the first set, before taking the tie-break.
A more comprehensive scoreline in the second ensures they advance to a second round match against the No. 2 seeds, Nestor/Zimonjic.
Speaking after the match, Jamie said: "It was a great match, really good fun to play in.
"There were plenty of good rallies, especially in the tie-break. We managed to step things up in the second set, and got ourselves a couple of quick breaks, which really helped.
"Have to say thanks to the British fans who came out to watch, there were lots of them!"
It's a very tough doubles draw out in Toronto, with seven of the top ten singles players in the 24 strong field, along with the top five pairs in the ATP doubles race.
