Hey guys!

Quite a lot to catch up on since my last blog so here goes..

Me and Delgy got another title in Slovenia last week. It’s my third in 5 tournaments. Gotta love blowing your own trumpet! Haha.

We did very well to get through our semi-final, saving lots of break points and then winning a tight tie-break before playing our best match of the week in the final.

Ljubjlana is a beautiful city and I would recommend anyone to go visit.  They have great restaurants around the main square and along the river that runs through it. Just a really good place,

After Slovenia I took four days off to spend time with my girlfriend.

We went to London Fashion Week on Sunday and checked out one of the catwalk shows - that was pretty good fun. They had lots of stalls where designers were showcasing their clothes - and plenty of girls running around trying anything and everything, and amassing as many freebees as possible.

Being the good boyfriend that I am, we went for dinner at Maze restaurant afterwards, and that was amaaaaazing! Definitely one of the top 3 steaks I’ve in my life!!

My mum and gran came down for a couple days to see me and Andy, which was good. It’s not often we’re both in London and it meant we could spend some time with them away from tennis. It’s great to have family at tournaments, but there's so much going on during the day that even though your family are there to support you, you don't actually get to hang out much.

We all went to see Hairspray in the West End, which was a lot of fun – again, great to do something with the family that didn't have anything to do with tennis. Someone fell asleep inside five minutes though, naming no names. Haha.

On Thursday I went to see a band called The Hall Effect play in Ladbroke Grove. They’re a Colombian band who have come over to try to break through in the UK and it was their first gig in the country. I brought along a few friends to watch the gig and they put on a great show. They’re definitely worth checking out on youtube or myspace (and of course in concert!)

There’s been a few five-a-side games at the NTC. We play 30 mins each way, and it’s great fitness, pretty different from our usual stuff. It’s a mixture of juniors, coaches and players and gets pretty competitive. Found myself on the winning side both times – a great advert for my left foot.

On the subject of football, everyone’s getting into fantasy football. It was the first thing people were talking about before training on Saturday. The leader in our league is 24th overall – out of 2 million. Farce.

I practiced with Delgy the last few days ahead of our next challenger event in Mons, and I sit here writing this at the station waiting to board the Eurostar to Brussels. Mons is always a tough tournament and the first indoor event of the fall on the challenger circuit and we’ll be looking to continue the good run of form of late.

Wish us luck!
