Where is Jamie?:

Off to Sofia

Hola amigos

I have been training this week in London as I didn’t get into Monte-Carlo with Andy - we were in the draw until 5 minutes before the sign-in closed and then got bumped which was a bit unfortunate. Still, it’s been nice to spend time at home and be in my apartment.

Alan has been down since Tuesday and we have been training hard albeit indoors as the weather can only described as cack!  There have been a few guys around this week so have been hitting with ‘Handles’, Aucky, Delgy, and Ully.

There’s also been a few big football matches going on recently, and I’ve been entertaining the boys at my flat. I pulled out all the stops, cooking up some fantashtich steaks and supplying the guys with all the right pre-game snacks to keep them amused!

The Liverpool vs.Chelsea game was a joke. Not necessarily the greatest quality of football but nothing could match the excitement. What a game!  And then the following night everybody was back round to mine to tune-in to Man Utd vs Porto…and I think we all know what happened there, don’t we Cristiano?!

I am off to Sofia tomorrow to play a Challenger with Paul Hanley. I’ll also play with him the following week in Tunis before teaming up with Pavel Vizner for the rest of the clay season.

I’m looking forward to playing with Pauly: we’re good friends and he’s been a top player for a long time. I’m  hoping we can put a good run together.

Before I go, just time to tell you about a new addition to the website. ‘Macman’ has decided to invest some of his precious time on the road and entertain the masses with a blog of his own. Just don’t expect much because his banter is minimal.

Much like his crosscourt backhand!

Catch you later…
