Last week was a busy week for Jamie Murray!  i was at the Blackrock Masters from Tuesday thru Sunday with a trip up to scotland on Thursday night to go to the Scottish Sports Awards where I picked up Andy's award for "most inspirational performance" for his match at US Open against Nadal...

I went with my dad and his girlfriend and a couple friends on a table with Highland Spring, our sponsors...I really enjoyed the evening and it was nice to be back in Scotland even if it was so short....Sir Alex Ferguson got a special award for outstanding contribution to sport and gave a pretty amazing speech...It was surreal to hear him talking about Andy and was a little reminder to me of how far Andy has come in his career! 
 
I flew back down the following morning and played in both sessions at the Royal Albert hall. I played against Bharami in the evening session which was very entertaining...possibly the best match of the week I think...we got a huge ovation at the end and even gave a bow to the crowd! 
 
On saturday I was getting dressed up again as i went to the British Comedy Awards. It's pretty cool to go to these different events as its something different to what we normally do and also has nothing to do with sport, even if Danny Cipriani was there avec his girlfriend Kelly Brook!  My favourite part of the night was seeing Eva Mendes...she's a farce! (very hot!) I went out after with Jamie Delgado...perhaps a bit later than I would have liked as i had to play again the following day, but we had a good time as always!
 
This week i am back into full training for the off-season...not sure if the NTC beats Miami in december, but I'm enjoying being home for a while and not having to worry about getting on a flight and travelling somewhere around the world!
